Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They are commonly used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and in many cases to track what you do online.
Do We Use Cookies?
No. Browsing this website does not place any cookies on your device.
The only exception is the private sign-in area that our committee members use to manage the website. A few strictly necessary cookies are used there to keep them signed in; these are never set while you browse our public pages.
We have deliberately built this site so that it does not track you. Specifically:
- We do not use Google Analytics or any other website analytics or statistics service.
- We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing tags or social media tracking pixels.
- We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not share visitor data with anyone.
- We do not embed maps, videos or other content from other companies, so nothing is loaded from their servers when you view a page.
- All fonts, images and icons are served from our own website rather than from an external provider.
Why You Will Not See a Cookie Banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, a website must ask your permission before storing anything on your device — unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for. The cookies used by our sign-in area fall within that exemption.
Because the public website sets no cookies at all, there is nothing for you to consent to, and so we do not show a cookie banner. This is a deliberate choice: we would rather not collect the data at all than ask you to agree to it.
Links to Other Websites
Our pages link out to other websites, including our Facebook, X and YouTube pages, our online enrolment form, and educational resources we recommend. These are ordinary links rather than embedded content, so nothing is loaded from those sites and no data is shared with them unless you choose to click through.
Once you follow a link you are on someone else's website and their own cookie and privacy policies apply. We have no control over how those organisations use cookies, so we would encourage you to read their policies.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for our students and their families, so we expect children to use it. We follow the Information Commissioner's Age Appropriate Design Code, which sets a higher standard of protection for children online. We do not profile children, track their behaviour, or use their data for marketing.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Although this site will not set cookies for you, every browser lets you review and delete cookies from any website, and block them entirely if you prefer. You will find these options in your browser's privacy or security settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your use of this website.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever add a feature that needs cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
