 New changes from this Academic Year 2021 / 2022.

Lessons at the School

Thamil classes start at 12:30 pm and will go on till 1:45 pm and ï‚· Toddler and Nursery classes for children over three and four years old respectively will also be conducted at the same time.

ï‚·With the view of bringing to a basic standard, any absolute beginners to Thamil who are seven years and above, we have started a class called Fast Track Thamil Lessons, which will be running from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at the School.

ï‚· Spoken Thamil classes - by Dr Ananthasayanan from 14:00 to 15:00 ï‚·

Fine Arts classes start from 2:00 pm onwards - Keyboard, Miruthangam, Barathanatiyam, Carnatic Music (Sivatharsika Teacher) Violin (Jalatharan Master)

 

Lessons via Zoom

Thamil - Only for *A L, *Thamil lessons for students from remote areas Beginners division and Intermediate division.

ï‚· Our Religion classes as well will be conducted by Zoom at 10 - 11 am.

ï‚· Fine Arts classes - Violin (Balarani Teacher), Veena (Sivatharani Teacher), Carnatic Music (Shakthi Teacher),

Stricter Safety Rules imposed by Whitmore High School that needs to be followed.

ï‚· Parents (except volunteer helpers) are NOT permitted inside the school beyond the 2nd small gate as per Whitmore directive.

ï‚· Those allowed to enter the school (including the students) will have to wear face-coverings and any parent volunteers should also enter their details in a registry upon entry in line with both Covid19 and Fire safety regulations from Whitmore.

ï‚· You can use the Car park where waiting is allowed but please ensure that you park within the designated bays only and are not blocking any entry/exit gates or access to bins.

Thamil textbook £7.50 each and Music practical book £5.00 each can be Ordered / purchased from the Thamil School.

Any student who did not attend the last term but wishes to continue from this academic year onwards can contact the committee to re-register. (Committee - 07511974333 )

New student enrolment form can be downloaded from our website and is also attached herewith. The completed form should be sent to the secretary or the president using the following email addresses.

Fees – HTSA Bank Account Details Registration Fee for this academic year is £25 per family.

The term fee per subject (for both Thamil and Fine Arts) for the whole autumn term will be £35.

The term fee for GCSE students will be £40 for the whole term. Fees for the A / Level lessons will be £75 per
