Dear Students, Parents, Head Teacher, Teachers, Committee members, and well-wishers of HTSA
Together, we have made it through another challenging academic year. There is no doubt that we will continue in our path to make HTSA a great community school to provide education for our children in the coming year.
The HTSA teachers and my fellow team members have worked hard over the last year with our parents to ensure that we, as a community, are not cowed by difficulties such as the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Our school has done great, and we should be proud of it.
Looking ahead, we know that Whitmore will be open to business again and we are very keen to move back in at our usual Saturday slot from September 2021. Although for students who need to continue remote learning, we will continue with the virtual classes.
We will go back to our original way of celebrating our children’s achievements by conducting events. We will build a peaceful and strong community via HTSA, and I pledge you all to stand together so that our children are given every opportunity, not just to excel in their academic career, but also to continue to embrace our culture and the Thamil language for many years to come.
Nominations are now called for all 9 committee members' posts for the coming academic year. Please find the attached nomination form which should be fully completed by anyone interested, and returned to the president (president@htsa.org.uk) before the 1st of September 2021.
On behalf of the current committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers, Head Teacher, parents, and our students for standing by HTSA through these difficult times.
Like you, I am looking forward to the situation getting back to normality very soon, where we will have a chance to meet together at Whitmore on Saturdays.
