As we are conducting our Thamil Thirukkural competition this Saturday 13th March 2021 our regular Zoom classes for Thamil, Fine Arts, and Religion would not be held.
HTSA Thirukkural Competition - 13th March 2021
The Thirukkural competition will be held on the 13th March 2021, virtually, on Zoom.
Participants are requested to be dressed in our Thamil Traditional dress when participating.
Those participating children have been assigned their individual ID No in accordance with their main school academic year. Please find attached herewith, the names and numbers and we would request participants to change the Zoom profile name with this ID No followed by their First names only.
Please ensure that your Zoom screen shows you up to waist height when you are called upon to present yourselves in front of the judges.
The independent judges' decision is final.
The Thirukkural competition will be held in two sessions, with the first session starting at 12:30pm and will include the following academic year groups:
Reception
Year 1
Year 2
Year 3
The second session begins at 2:00 pm and will include the following academic year groups:
Year 4
Year 5
Year 6
Years 7 & 8
Years 9 and above
All participants please join fifteen minutes before your assigned session (ie 12:15 pm and 1:45 pm)
For further communications and organising purposes, relevant WhatsApp groups have been created, accommodating students according to those individual sessions. If your participating child's name is missing, please contact us in the following mobile No., immediately.
Those who are not participating are also invited to watch the competition. Those who have already finished participating are also requested to stay and enjoy the rest of the competition where competitors from a higher grade participate.
