Thirukkural Competition Finals - Saturday, 18th May 2018

• The Finals will be held this Saturday18^th May 2019, for all the Finalists.
• Please see the Finalists’ details below
• On your arrival, please register your attendance in the canteen area to the designated committee member(s).
• AM Session (11:30 am): Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. Participants are required to report to the desk in the canteen area at 11:30 am, register your attendance, collect your Index Numbers and wait in the canteen area to be collected. The registration will close, and competition will start promptly at 12 pm.
• PM Session (2 pm): Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7&8 and Year 9 & above. Participants are required to report to the desk in the canteen area at 1:30 pm, register your attendance, collect your Index Numbers and wait in the canteen area to be collected. The registration will close, and competition will start promptly at 2 pm.
• Late arrival will result in disqualification.
• As soon as you completed the registration, the children shall wait in the canteen area to be collected by a committee member.
• The committee members will come and collect the participants from the canteen area and escort the children to the hall when they are next in the queue. It is important for the participants to arrive promptly, register accurately and remain in the canteen area with their index number displayed properly. Please inform your children too. 
• If a participant failed to register by registration closing time or unavailable in the canteen area when their name is called by the committee members, then that participant will be disqualified from the competition.
• Please arrive promptly and wait in the canteen area for further announcements.
• As we are expecting many participants in a short amount of time, we don’t have any minutes to spare. Please arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
• As we are conducting the finals in the class rooms, parents and guardians are invited to watch their children’s performance. When your child’s age group is escorted to the main hall from the canteen area, those children’s parents and guardians too are allowed in the hall.
• Please check before you enter the hall. If a child is on the stage, please do not open the door and enter the hall.
• When you are inside the hall, please remain seated and keep silence during the performance. You may only exit or enter the hall when the stage is vacant.
• Parents are not allowed any contacts with the child, once they are collected by a committee member from the canteen area, up until they are finished their performance and off the stage.
• No Food or Drinks allowed inside the hall.
• Your corporation is much appreciated.
• The winners will be announced at the end of the sessions with Judges’ comments. Also, the winners’ details will be emailed (parent email) and published on our website next week.

Parent’s Meeting – 2pm – Saturday, 25^th May 2019

Parent’s consultation for Tamil Classes will be held at 2:00 pm at Whitmore High School.

Tamil Vizha 2019- Saturday, 13^th July 2019

Venue: TBC  

The Students have been given a consent form for the Parents to complete and return by Saturday the latest to their Class Teachers.

Tickets: £10/ participant

Siblings concession: Three siblings for the price of Two. (3 siblings pay just £20)

Attendance: All Participants shall endeavour to attend the rehearsals (to be confirmed).
