Dear Parents,

 

 

Tamil Class – End of Year Exams – Saturday, 30th Jun 2018

Annual exams are for Tamil classes only. The Exams will start at 12:30 pm so please arrive promptly.

 

Please note, term fees must be paid in full before the 30th June 2018.

 

Progress Reports will only be issued to students whose fees are paid in full.  If you need further assistance, please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@htsa.org.uk

 

Progress Reports will be given on Saturday, 7th July 2018 at Whitmore High School between 3 to 4:30 pm

 

 

HTSA Football & Netball Tournament – Saturday 7th July 2018

Venue: Whitmore High School - Playground

Time: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

 

As we must vacate by 2:30 pm, your prompt arrival is necessary.

 

Football tournament - Under 12, Under 18 & Parents

Netball tournament - Under 18 & Parents

 

AstroTurf shoes only.

No Football Boots allowed.

Please keep the facilities clean and tidy. Use the bin.

For your child’s safety, please keep your children with you at all times.

Other games or free play in the school premises NOT allowed.

 

Please contact your team captains and ensure your team is prepared for the tournament.

You are welcome to bring your friends and family to the event.

The main cars park spaces are limited to the event organisers and suppliers. Off-street and overflow car parking spaces are available for Parents and visitors.

Please obey the rules and park sensibly to avoid parking tickets enforced by the local council.

 

 

Kodai Vizha 2018 – Saturday, 14th July 2018 @ 3.30pm

Venue: Winston Churchill Theatre, Manor Farm, Pinn Way, Ruislip HA4 7QL.

 

Participants:

Tamil: Nursery, Reception A2, Year 1B, Year 2A, Year 2B, Year 4 and Year 6.

Fine Arts: Miruthangam (Arun Master), Veena, Violin (Jalatharan Master) and Vocal (Sivatharshika Teacher’s Senior Students)

 

Attendance: All Participants must attend the rehearsals (to be confirmed) and must report to the venue (Winston Churchill Theatre) at 2:30 pm on the KV2018 day.

 

Fees for Participants: £10/ participant (Covers both Tamil & Finearts performances)

Siblings concession: Three siblings for the price of Two. (3 siblings pay just £20)

Please pay the Participant fees by Saturday, 30th June 2018.

 

KV 2018 will include the award ceremony of Thirukkural Competition winners (First 3 places only), Speech Competition winners (First 3 places only), Best Student of the year and class winners

Beach Trip – Saturday 21st July 2018

An important announcement with regards to our upcoming Beach trip.

We would like to keep it more effective and engaging this year.  Hence, we are only arranging one coach.  This means, there are limited seats for those interested.  Please note that the seats will be filled on a 'first come first serve' basis. 

 

Many parents have already signed up and those who are keen, please contact Murali Bala on 07879 403 224 by the deadline, which is Saturday, June 30th.

 

It is vital we need the numbers by next Saturday for the planning. 

 

Please note that the trip is on July 21st, Saturday and you can bring your families and friends.

 

 

Safety Rules - Reminder

  1. Parents must pick their children from the Assembly Hall and not from the Car Park. If the children are caught leaving the building without an adult supervision and the security officer inform the council, the authorities will not hesitate to act. Please note, CCTV is in operation in and around the school premises.
  2. In line with the above rule, the children are not allowed in the playground or anywhere outside the classrooms or canteen area without an adult supervision.
  3. Please ensure, the children wear appropriate footwear to school.
  4. Please use the bins for your litter and leave the canteen area clean.
  5. Please remember to take your belongings with you. HTSA will not take responsibility for lost items.
  6. Parents of students who are 8 years old or under must ensure at least one of the parent or guardian remain at the school on Saturdays, during your children’s lessons.

 

Leavers??? - Please inform us immediately…

If your child has left the School, please inform us immediately. Please contact us with your child’s full name and your full name. This will help us to offer the place to another child from the waiting list and remove your details from our mailing list.
