Dear parents,

Please note the following announcements,

1.        Half Term Holidays
No school on Saturday 22^nd of October

2.        Child Safe Guarding & Protection
Parents are not allowed in corridors. Committee will make sure teacher or a responsible person is in every class before letting children in. Harrow council and Whitmore High school are enforcing us to follow the rules in child safe guarding & protection. Hope you all understand this and support us in implementing it.

Nursery and Reception students will stay outside of the corridor entrance. Their class teachers will take them to their class rooms and bring them back to assembly. Please collect them after assembly from teachers.

Please make sure to label your book bags, musical instruments and other belongings in order to identify when lost or misplaced.

3.       Tamil Speech competition
Tamil Speech competition is on 19^th of November. Scripts are distributed last Saturday. They can be downloaded from our website. 

HTSA website (www.htsa.org.uk/materialdownloads.php). Click on the link and go to ‘For the restricted Material Downloads’and select the class. This is the year that the student follows in main stream school. Not the class in HTSA. After selecting the right class, click on the hyperlink below the dropdown called ‘Speech Competition Nov 2016’ to download your speech script.  Please refer script based on mainstream school and also make sure your children under right age group, which is also available in the title of script.
If your child is participating in Tamil Speech competition, please register your child’s details before 5^th of November.

4.       Christmas Celebration 
Our Christmas Celebration is on 17th of December in Nower Hill High School, George V Avenue, Pinner, Middlesex, HA5 5RP. Parents are encouraged to train their children to participate in group activities. To perform on the stage, a group must have minimum 6 participants. Please provide your group details to Mrs Uthayam Thayaparan.

Also, Mrs Uthayam Thayaparan will be preparing Christmas nativity play. If you want your child to participate, please give your details to her.

5.       Yoga Lessons

As requested by most of the parents, we will be starting Yoga lessons from 29^th of October. It will be conducted in the main hall from 12:45 – 1:45. Please come and join in Yoga lessons.
