Dear  Parents

Saraswathy Pooja [ 8th of October]

We would like to remind you that our school Saraswathy Pooja is on coming Saturday 8th October 2016. Here is the schedule for Saturday’s Saraswathy Pooja.
12:30 - 13:30 - Tamil classes
13:30 – 14:30 - Pooja followed by stage performance by Tamil & fine arts students
14:30 – 15:00 – Break; Prasadham will be given to all students and parents
15:00 – 16:30 – Continuation of stage performance by fine arts students

Volunteers who are bringing Prasadham, please bring them at 12:30 pm to set up in our dining area. We also expect your kind service to arrange and give prasadham to our students and parents. Please come forward and offer your support.

We encourage all the students to wear our cultural costume on the day. Also we will be enrolling new students for Fine Arts on Saraswathy Pooja day.

To encourage more students to come forward and learn more fine arts subjects, we have restructured the fine arts courses now. If a student follows 2 fine arts subjects, he/she can take the third fine arts subject for free. This creates platform for students to showcase their talent / opportunity to take part in HTSA fine arts performances and other collaborated activities like ‘Music For Youth.
Since this is our 30th year, we will be showcasing our children’s talents in public arenas and theatres as a leading Tamil School in London. We want more fine arts students to enrol and take this opportunity in developing their skills and stage performances.

Speech competition [ 19th of November]
The Speech competition scripts will be ready to download from HTSA website (www.htsa.org.uk/materialdownloads.php) from 15th of October. Click on the link and go to ‘For the restricted Material Downloads’ and select the class. This is the year that the student follows in main stream school. NOT the class in HTSA. After selecting the right class, click on the hyperlink below the dropdown called ‘Speech Competition Nov 2016’ to download your speech script.  Please refer script based on mainstream school and also make sure your children under right age group, which is also available in the title of script.
